Historical Renovation

With a city founded in 1780 by fur traders heading down the Ohio River, it was no wonder affluent settlers decided to call Louisville their home. Architecture ahead of its time, makes up the neighborhoods of Old Louisville, Anchorage, and the Highlands to name a few. GreatHouse has had the privilege of restoring these old homes back to life.

Restoration

This was an amazing project and a personal one for me. My Great Grandfather was the framing carpenter, my Great Uncle was the general contractor, and another Great Uncle was the trim carpenter. I am a fourth generation builder. This house and some others belong to the National Historic Registry.
